Solve the equations, if possible. Be sure you have found all possible solutions. Check your work and write down the name(s) of the method(s) you used.

1. $(x + 4)^2 = 49$

$\sqrt{(\textit{x}+4)^2}=\sqrt{49}$

1. $3 \sqrt { x + 2 } = 12$

Divide both sides by $3$.

1. $\frac { 2 } { x } + \frac { 3 } { 10 } = \frac { 13 } { 10 }$

$\frac{2}{\textit{x}}=\frac{10}{10}$

$x = 2$

1. $5(2x - 1) - 2 = 13$

$x = 2$
