Solve for $z$ in each equation.

Rewrite each equation so that the terms have the same bases.

1. $4^z = 8$

$(2^{2})^{z}=2^{3}$

$2z=3$

$z=\frac{3}{2}$

1. $4^{5z} = 8^{(z + 2)}$

$z=\frac{6}{7}$

1. $3^z = 81^2$

1. $5^{(z+1)/3} = 25^z$
