8-18.

Solve each equation for $x$.

1. $\frac { x } { 3.2 } = \frac { x ^ { 2 } } { 7.5 }$

$7.5x = 3.2x^2$

1. $4(x - 2) + 3(-x + 4) = -2(x - 3)$

$x=\frac{2}{3}$

1. $2x^2 + 7x - 15 = 0$

Factor and use the Zero Product Property.

1. $3x^2 - 2x = -1$

Set the equation equal to $0$ then use the Quadratic Formula. Your solution should be complex.
