Change to an equation and solve for the boundary point.
$4x - 3 = 9$
$4x = 12$
$x = 3$

Place the boundary point on a number line.

Test a point that is not the boundary point.

Test $x = 0$:
$4(0) - 3 ≥ 9$
$-3 ≥ 9$
False

$x ≥ 3$

1. $3(x + 4) < 5$

1. $\frac { 2 x } { 7 }< 8$

$x < 28$

1. $5x+4>-3\left(x-8\right)$
