Brad says to his granddaughter Kayla, “Even if you squared your age and added one, you still wouldn’t be as old as I am.” Brad is $65$ years old. Write and solve an inequality to determine the possible ages Kayla could be.

$K^2 + 1 < 65$

Kayla must be less than $8$ years old. (Note that negative values do not make sense because humans cannot be negative years old).
