For each quadratic function, state the vertex of the parabola.

1. $f(x) = (x + 3.5)^2 - 10.25$

The vertex is at $(-3.5, -10.25)$

1. $f(x) = 3(x + 1)^2 + 1$

The graphing form of a quadratic (also called the vertex form) is $f(x) = a(x - h)^2 + k$ where the vertex is at $(h, k)$

The vertex is at $(-1,1)$

1. $f(x) = (x - 2.5)^2 + 0.75$
