8-71.

Sketch the graph of the function $f\left(x\right) = 3\left(5\right)^{x}$.

Substitute both negative and positive values for $x$ and plot the points.

1. What is the domain of $f\left(x\right)$?

Looking at your sketch, are there any values of $x$ that will not produce an output?

2. Sketch the graph of the geometric sequence $t\left(n\right) = 3\left(5\right)^{n}$.

This is a sequence, so only use positive integer values for $n$.

3. What is the difference between $f\left(x\right)$ and $t\left(n\right)$? Explain completely.
