Reminder: $(\text{sin }θ)^2$ is usually written as $\text{sin}^2 θ$. However, the first form must be used on your calculator. Also, $\text{sin }θ^2$ means to square $θ$ first and then take the sine. If $\text{sin }θ = 0.6$ and $\frac { \pi } { 2 }≤ θ ≤\pi$, find the following values or state “impossible without a calculator.”

1. $(\text{sin }θ)^2$

This is $(0.6)(0.6)$: $0.36$

1. $\text{sin}^2 θ$

This is the same as (a) above.

1. $\text{sin }θ^2$

This is impossible because $θ$ is unknown.
