Mr. McDonald wants to build a rectangular corral using fencing for three sides and the side of the barn for the fourth side. He has feet of fencing. What should the dimensions of the corral be in order to maximize its area? Be sure to use all of the steps suggested in Lesson 7.2.1 for setting up the problem.

Steps:
1. Draw a diagram.
2. Name and define the variables and given information.
3. Write and simplify equations relating the given and needed information.
4. Identify the variable you are trying to find and write it in terms of the other variables..
5. Graph the function finding either the high or low points.
