10-65.

Write an equation for a third-degree polynomial function that has roots at $x=\frac { 2 \pm \sqrt { 3 } } { 2 }$, $x = 2$, and passes through the point $(1, 6)$.

If $x=\frac{2+\sqrt{3}}{2}$ is a root, then $(2x-(2+\sqrt{3}))$ is the corresponding factor. Review the homework help for problem 5-105.
