13-13.

Leigh needs to make $500$ mL of a $20\%$ alcohol solution. All she has available is a $10\%$ alcohol solution and pure alcohol. How much of each solution should she use?

Let $x =$ the amount of $10\%$ solution.
Write an expression for the amount of pure alcohol solution that will need to be added.

$x\left(0.10\right) + \left(\text{expression from hint}\right)\left(1.00\right) = 500\left(0.20\right)$
Make sense of where these numbers are coming from and what they mean.
