If a car travels $60$ miles per hour for $2$ hours and then $40$ miles per hour for $1$ hour, it travels $160$ miles.

1. Sketch a graph of velocity vs. time, being sure to label the axes.

2. Copy and complete the table below for the distance traveled as a function of time.

Pay attention to the fact that after $2$ hours, the velocity decreases.

3. Graph the distance vs. time function by using the data from the table. Be sure to label the axes.

4. Express the distance as a piecewise-defined function.
