2-116.

Use the functions at right to evaluate each of the following expressions.

1. $f(g(1))$

$f(−9)$

2. $f^{-1}(g(-3))$

$f^{−1}(−4)$

Solve: $−4=−4x−10$

3. $g^{-1}(f^{-1}(-6))$

To determine $f^{−1}(−6)$, solve $−6=−4x−10$.

$f(x)=-4x-10$
