Sketch a tangent curve shifted up $5$ units.
Tangent has a period of $\pi$, so how does shifting the curve horizontally $\pi$ units affect the graph?

1. $v(x)=2\cos(x)-3$

The midline of this curve is $y=−3$.
The amplitude is $2$, so the maximum and minimum bounds of the curve are $y=−1$ and $y=−5$.
