Rewrite each of the following rational expressions as a single fraction.

$\frac{x}{x-1}-\frac{x}{x-2}$
Step (a):
$\frac{x(x-2)}{(x-1)(x-2)}-\frac{x(x-1)}{(x-2)(x-1)}$

$2x-\frac{4}{x+2}$
Hint (b):
Change $2x$ to $\frac{2x}{1}$ .
Then create a common denominator.
