8-32.

Let $\vec{\text{v}}=3$ i $– 2$j.

1. What two vectors have the same magnitude as $\vec{\text{v}}$ but are perpendicular to $\vec{\text{v}}$?

The slope of the given vector is $-\frac{2}{3}$.
What is the slope of the perpendicular vector?

2. What is the unit vector that is in the same direction as $\vec{\text{v}}$?

To obtain a unit vector, divide each component of $\vec{\text{v}}$ by the magnitude of $\vec{\text{v}}$.
