9-27.

Abe, Barbara, and Cassie work at Budding Success Flower Shop. Each day, they plan to make bouquets in three styles in the quantities indicated by matrix $E$, an employees-by-bouquet styles matrix, shown at right. Homework Help ✎

1. How many #2 bouquets will Cassie make each day?

Look at the row for Cassie and the column for bouquet style #2.

2. Who makes the most bouquets?

Abe makes $6 + 4 + 7 = 17$ bouquets.
How many bouquets do Barbara and Cassie each make?

3. Write a matrix that shows how many bouquet styles each worker makes in one full workweek (Monday through Friday).

Since there are five days in a workweek, multiply the given matrix by $5$.

4. Represent your answer to part (c) in terms of $E$.

 Bouquet Styles #1   #2   #3 ABC $\left[ \begin{array} { c c c } { 6 } & { 4 } & { 7 } \\ { 4 } & { 8 } & { 5 } \\ { 5 } & { 6 } & { 6 } \end{array} \right]$
