Write an equation for the line that passes through the points $(2,0)$ and $(0,−3)$. Remember that drawing a diagram (in this case, drawing the graph) can be very helpful.

Find the slope of the line through these two points by sketching a slope triangle.

Once you find the slope, use the Slope-Intercept equation and substitute the slope for $m$ and one of the points for $x$ and $y$.

Check that your equation is correct using the other point.
