$x^2+3x−3=0$

This equation cannot be factored.

$x=\frac{-b\pm\sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a}$
Answer (a):
$x=\frac{-3\pm\sqrt{21}}{2}$
$x\approx-3.79\text{ or }x\approx0.79$

$3x^2−7x=12$
Hint (b):
First, put the equation in Standard Form: $ax^2+bx+c=0$
