Solve each equation below for $x$. Refer back to problem 3-30 for examples, if necessary.

1. $2^{(x+3)} = 64$

$64 = 2^{6}$

$2^{(x+ 3)} = 2^{6}$

$x + 3 = 6$

$x = 3$

1. $8^{x} = 4^{6}$

Do $8$ and $4$ have a common base?

1. $9 ^ { x } = \frac { 1 } { 27 }$
