4-110.

Write each expression below in simplest radical form. Homework Help ✎

1. $\sqrt { 75 } + \sqrt { 27 }$

Factor using perfect squares. Combine like terms if possible.

$\sqrt{25\cdot}+\sqrt{9\cdot3}=5\sqrt{3}+3\sqrt{3}$

1. $\sqrt { x } + 2 \sqrt { x }$

Combine like terms.

1. $( \sqrt { 12 } ) ^ { 2 }$

Squaring is the inverse operation for square root.

1. $( 3 \sqrt { 12 } ) ^ { 2 }$

Rewrite the expression: $(3\sqrt{12})^2=(3)^2(\sqrt{12})^2$

See part (c).
