Solve each of the following equations for $x$.

1. $\frac { x } { 3 } = \frac { 4 } { 5 }$

$\textit{x}=\frac{12}{5}$

1. $\frac { x } { x + 1 } = \frac { 5 } { 7 }$

$\textit{x}=\frac{5}{2}$

1. $\frac { 6 } { 15 } = 2 - \frac { x } { 5 }$

Multiply both sides of the equation by $15$.

$6 = 30 − 3x$

1. $\frac { 2 } { 3 } + \frac { x } { 5 } = 6$
