6-49.

Solve each of the following equations.

1. $\frac { 3 x } { 5 } = \frac { x - 2 } { 4 }$

$\textit{x}=-\frac{10}{7}$

1. $\frac { 4 x - 1 } { x } = 3 x$

$4x − 1 = 3x^{2}$

$3x^{2} − 4x + 1 = 0$

1. $\frac { 2 x } { 5 } - \frac { 1 } { 3 } = \frac { 137 } { 3 }$

$x = 115$

1. $\frac { 4 x - 1 } { x + 1 } = x - 1$

Use the same method as in part (b).
