Rebecca thinks that she has found a quick way to graph an inverse of a function. She figures that if you can interchange $x$ and $y$ to find the inverse, she will interchange the $x$- and $y$-axes by flipping the paper over so that when she looks through the back the $x$-axis is vertical and the y-axis is horizontal as shown in the pair of graphs below left.
