2-8.

For the function$f ( x ) = \frac { 6 } { 2 x - 3 }$, find the value of each expression below.

1. $f \left(1\right)$

Substitute $1$ for $x$.

$f\left(1\right) = −6$

1. $f \left(0\right)$

1. $f \left(−3\right)$

1. $f \left(1.5\right)$

$f\left(1.5\right) = \text{Undefined.}\\\text{ You can't divide by 0.}$

1. What value of $x$ would make $f\left(x\right) = 4$?

Substitute $4$ for $f\left(x\right)$.

$x = 2.25$
