Use what you know about $m$ and $b$ to graph each equation below without making a table. Show a growth triangle on each graph and label the $x$- and $y$-intercepts. 4-62 HW eTool (Desmos).

1. $y = 3 − 2x$

1. $y = -\frac{1}{2}x+ 3$

Identify $m$ and $b$.

$m = −2, b = 3$

Graph $b$, the $y$-intercept.

Use $m$ to draw the rest of the line.

$x$-intercept = $\left(1.5, 0\right)$
$y$-intercept = $\left(0, 3\right)$

This is equivalent to $y = 2x + 0.$

$x$-intercept = $\left(0, 0\right)$ $y$-intercept = $\left(0, 0\right)$
