Find the area of the entire rectangle in each diagram below. Show all work.

$\text{Area} = \left(\text{base}\right)\left(\text{height}\right)$

$Area = \left(48\right)\left(102\right)$

$\text{Area} = 4896 \text{ sq. units}$

$\text{Area} = \left(\text{base}\right)\left(\text{height}\right)$

Separate the rectangle into two rectangles, then add the two areas to find the total area.

$\text{Area} = \left(13· x\right) + \left(13· 7\right)$

$\text{Area} = 13x + 91$

For parts (c) and (d), use the same strategy outlined in part (b).
