Find the point of intersection for each set of equations below using any method. Check your solutions, if possible.

$\begin{aligned}[t] 6x &- 2y = 10 \\ 3x &- 5 = y \end{aligned}$
Hint (a)
Substitution is one way to solve this system.
$6x-2(3x-5)=10$ :
Step 1(a)
Distribute the left side.
$6x-6x+10=10$
Step 2(a):
Combine like terms.
$10=10$
Answer:
All numbers

$\begin{aligned}[t] 6x &- 2y = 5 \\ 3x &+ 2y = -2 \end{aligned}$
Hint (b):
Elimination is one method to solve this system.
Answer (b):
$\left(\frac{1}{3},-\frac{3}{2}\right)$

$\begin{aligned}[t] 5 &- y = 3x \\ y &= 2x \end{aligned}$
Hint (c):
Use substitution. Check your work.
