1. $\frac { 2 } { 3 } x - \frac { 1 } { 4 } = \frac { x } { 2 }$

1. $\frac { 7 x } { 1000 } + \frac { 2 } { 500 } = \frac { 11 } { 100 }$

$\frac{2}{3}x(12)-\frac{1}{4}(12)=\frac{x}{2}(12)$

$8x − 3 = 6x$

$x=\frac{3}{2}$
