   $\sqrt{68} \cong 8.2 \text{ because } \sqrt{64} =8,\text{ so } \sqrt{68} \text{ must be a little higher.}$

2. Repeat this process to estimate the values below.

   (1) $\sqrt { 5 }$

   Answer b (1):

   $2.2$

   (2) $\sqrt { 85 }$

   Answer b (2):

   Since square root of $81$ is $9$, then square root of $85$ is a little more$≈ 9.2.$

   (3) $\sqrt { 50 }$

   Answer b (3):

   $7.1$

   (4) $\sqrt { 22 }$

   Answer b (4):

   $4.7$
