1. Find the slope of $\overleftrightarrow{MU}$.

   Draw a slope triangle.

2. Find $MU$ (the distance from $M$ to $U$).

   Hint (b):

   Think of how a slope triangle can be used to calculate $MU$.

3. Are there any similarities to the calculations used in parts (a) and (b)? Any differences?

   One is a ratio (slope) while the other is a length (distance).
