A right angled trapezoid with bottom base 3 and top base 6, left side is the perpendicular height, 4, and right side 5.Enlarge the shape at right on graph paper using a zoom factor of . Then find the perimeter and area of both shapes. What do you notice when you compare the perimeters? The areas?

Enlarge the shape so that the sides are twice as long.

Calculate the area and perimeter for both shapes.
