Solve each equation to find the value of $x$ . Leave your answers in decimal form accurate to the thousandths place.

Hint:

When solving equations with an $x^2\text{-term}$ , you can use the Quadratic Formula.

$\frac { 3.2 } { x } = \frac { 7.5 } { x ^ { 2 } }$
Step (a):
$3.2x^2=7.5x$

$4(x-2)+3(-x+4)=-2(x-3)$
Step (b):
$4x-8+(-3x)+12=-2x+6$

$2x^2+7x-15=0$
Partial Answer (c):
One solution is $x=1.5$

$3x^2−2x=−1$
Hint (d):
To use the Quadratic Formula, the equation must be in the form $ax^2+bx+c=0$ .
Answer (d):
No real solution.
