How many “hands” long is your bed?

  1. Using your hands as units of measure, first estimate (without actually counting) the number of “hands” that you think will fit across the length of your bed.

Think about what this question is asking you to do. Perhaps you'd like to see what one hand looks like in comparison to your entire bed. Use that information and imagine how many hands it might take to reach the other end. There is no wrong answer!

  2. Now measure and record the length of your bed using your hands.

Use your ideas from part (a). As always, just do your best
