Write the missing number that makes each of the following number sentences true.

1. $12 \space \cdot \space ? = 180$

How would you say this out loud? Can you rearrange this to be a division problem?

Rearrange the equation to be a division problem.

$\frac{180}{12}=?$

Solve the division problem.

$\frac{180}{12}=15$

2. $\frac { 96 } { ? } = 12$

Think back to part (a). Is there a way you can rearrange the problem to make it simpler?

3. $7 \space \cdot \space ? = 98$

Follow the steps outlined in part (a).

4. $\frac { ? } { 9 } = 11$

This problem is similar to the others, but there is one key difference. Can you find it?

The key difference: you will need to rearrange this equation into a multiplication problem in order to solve it.
