Use the correct order of operations to simplify each of the following expressions.

1.   $3 − 2 · 5$

Try using parentheses or circles to separate terms, if you find that helpful.

Complete any multiplication or division.

$3 −10$

$3 − 10 = −7$

1.   $7\left(4 + 3 · 2\right)$

As you did in part (a), be sure to use the correct order of operations.

1.   $10 − 6 ÷ 2 · 4 + 2$

Again, you will be following the order of operations. Remember to perform multiplication and division from left to right.
