5-30.

Imagine that you have a set of axes with $20$ equally spaced tick marks on each one. You want to graph data that goes as high as $232$ on the horizontal axis and $450$ on the vertical axis.

1. What would be an appropriate interval for scaling the $x$-axis?

If you were to divide $232$ units evenly into $20$ groups, how many units would be in each group?
Now think of a more convenient number that is bigger than this to use as your scale.

2. What would be an appropriate interval for scaling the $y$-axis?

$25$ units for each section would be convenient.
