6-146.

Victor and Hugo were shooting baskets. Hugo made $6$ of his $10$ shots. Victor made $10$ out of his $15$ shots. Who is the better shooter? Show all of your work and explain your reasoning clearly.

To identify the better shooter, find what portion of their shots each shooter made. Then make each fraction over $30$ so that you can compare them more easily.

A different friend, Carlos, made $4$ out of $5$ of his shots.

$\frac{4}{5}=\left(\frac{4}{5}\right)\left(\frac{6}{6}\right)=\frac{24}{30}$

Use this example to help you create the fractions to compare Victor and Hugo.
