On grid paper, draw a rectangle with a width of $4$ units and a length of $5$ units. If you were to enlarge your rectangle so that the new length is $12$ units, how wide would it be? Show how you know.

How can you figure out what to multiply $5$ by in order to get $12$?

In other words, $5 · ? = 12$

Can you use division?

Now use this number to figure out what the new width should be.
