What happens to a point once it is reflected across the x-axis? How about the y-axis?
When a point is reflected across the x-axis, the only difference is that the y-coordinate changes from negative to positive.
When a point is reflected across the y-axis, the only difference is that the x-coordinate changes from positive to negative.
Moving to the right increases the x-coordinate.
Moving to the left decreases the x-coordinate.
Moving up increases the y-coordinate.
Moving down decreases the y-coordinate.
