Where would the point
Reflect
across the -axis, then reflect that point across the -axis. What happens to a point once it is reflected across the
-axis? How about the y-axis? When a point is reflected across the
-axis, the only difference is that the -coordinate changes from negative to positive. When a point is reflected across the
-axis, the only difference is that the -coordinate changes from positive to negative. Translate
units to the right and units down. Moving to the right increases the
-coordinate.
Moving to the left decreases the-coordinate.
Moving up increases the-coordinate.
Moving down decreases the-coordinate.
