What happens to a point once it is reflected across the *x*-axis? How about the *y*-axis?

When a point is reflected across the *x*-axis, the only difference is that the *y*-coordinate changes from negative to positive.

When a point is reflected across the *y*-axis, the only difference is that the *x*-coordinate changes from positive to negative.

Moving to the right increases the *x*-coordinate.

Moving to the left decreases the *x*-coordinate.

Moving up increases the *y*-coordinate.

Moving down decreases the *y*-coordinate.
