4-31.

On graph paper, plot the points $A (2, 4),$ $B (0, 0),$ and $C (6, 2)$ to form triangle $ABC$. .

1. Multiply the coordinates of each point by $2$ and plot the new points. What happened to the triangle?

2. Predict what happens when you multiply each original point by $\frac { 1 } { 2 }$. Then multiply the coordinates and plot the new points. Was your prediction correct?
