5-91.

Carmen is drawing a card from a standard deck of playing cards. Find each probability below. If you need a reminder, you may reread the information about a standard deck of cards in problem 1‑68.

1. What is the probability that she will draw a heart?

There are $52$ cards in a deck. $13$ of those cards are hearts.

2. What is the probability that she will not draw a club?

The number of clubs in a deck is equal to the number of hearts.

$\frac{39}{52}$ or $\frac{3}{4}$
