Convert each mixed number to a fraction greater than one, or each fraction greater than one to a mixed number.

1. $5 \frac { 3 } { 11 }$

$5\frac{3}{11}=$
$\frac{11}{11}+\frac{11}{11}+\frac{11}{11}+\frac{11}{11}+\frac{11}{11}+\frac{3}{11}$

1. $\frac { 49 } { 4 }$

How many times does $4$ go into $49$? How many $\frac{1}{4}\text{s}$ are left over?

$12\frac{1}{4}$

1. $3 \frac { 1 } { 20 }$

How many $\frac{1}{20}\text{s}$ are needed to make $1$? To make $2$? To make $3$?

1. $\frac { 603 } { 100 }$
