Find each of the products in parts (a) through (d) below.

1. $\quad \frac { 2 } { 3 } \cdot \frac { 2 } { 7 }$

• Multiply the numerators together and the denominators together.

$\frac{4}{21}$

1. $\quad \frac { 4 } { 7 } \cdot \frac { 3 } { 4 }$

• Since there is a 4 in the numerator and in the denominator, they make a Giant One.

1. $\quad \frac { 10 } { 13 } \cdot \frac { 3 } { 5 }$

$\frac{6}{13}$
1. $1 \frac { 2 } { 3 } \cdot \frac { 1 } { 5 }$
• $1\frac{2}{3}\text{ is}\\ \text{ equivalent to }\frac{5}{3}.$
