Simplify each of the following expressions.

1. $4x^3y · 3xy^2$

Combine like terms.

$(4)(3)x^{(3 + 1)}y^{(1 + 2)}$

$12x^{4}y^{3}$

Rewrite this expression with the lowest base numbers possible

$\frac{(3^{5})(2^{3})(5^{3})}{(3^{2})(2^{3})(5^{3})(3^{3})}$

Combine numbers with the same base.

$(3^{(5 − 2 − 3)}) · (2^{(3 − 3)}) · (5^{(3 − 3)})$

$(3^0) · (2^0) · (5^0)$

Any number to the zero power has the value of $1$.
