4-77.

Find all of the points at which the parabolas below intersect. Write your solution(s) in $(x,y)$ form. Homework Help ✎

$y=x^2−x+12\\y=2x^2+3x+7$

Both equations are in $y=\text{form}$, so the Equal Values Method can be used.

$y=y\\x^2−x+12=2x^2+3x+7$

Set the equation equal to $0$.

Factor and use the Zero Product Property, or use the Quadratic Formula to solve for $x$.

Be sure to solve for $y$.
